Our Community Standards:
Ethical Priority: We strongly encourage adopting rescues over purchasing newborn birds. We do not support breeding mills or unethical practices. Anyone caught engaging in unethical breeding or treatment of animals will be banned.
Integrity & Respect: We maintain a kind environment. Anyone found treating animals poorly, engaging in homophobic behavior, or being toxic to others will be removed immediately.
Health & Safety: PLEASE BE SAFE AND VIGILANT. Get video/photo proof of any bird and be extremely cautious regarding shipping.
Testing: We highly recommend disease testing before any adoption (we suggest IQBird Testing for reliable and affordable results).
Quarantine: Proper quarantine periods are essential (We do 90 days). You should have an established Avian Vet available before bringing a new bird home.
Member Responsibility: Rehoming or adopting is strictly 18+ only. You are responsible for following all local and state laws, including verifying species permits for your state before transport.

Verified Aviary & Community Safety: To help our members find trusted partners, we offer a Verified Aviary directory. Both professional and private breeders are welcome to apply for verified status. The application process involves detailed questions regarding care standards, customer referrals, and facility photos, vet information to ensure birds are kept safe and healthy.
To maintain community safety, we maintain a non-public Transparency Log available only to staff. We do not allow individuals or aviaries with known health or ethical issues to post within this community. If you encounter a problem or witness unethical behavior, please report it to a moderator immediately so we can investigate.
